WICHITA – AutoZone is expanding at Parklane Shopping Center at Oliver and Lincoln in Wichita.
The auto parts and accessories store is adding 2,000 square feet to accommodate the distribution side of its business, says Dennis Fitzroy, who manages the shopping center and is vice president for the commercial division of Builders Inc., which owns and manages the center.
The store, which has a retail component at Parklane, also distributes parts to other area stores and needed more space for that side of its business, Fitzroy says.
The addition gives AutoZone 17,450 square feet at its 910 S. Oliver location. AutoZone has operated at the center since 1997, Fitzroy says.
He says Builders Inc. will do some tenant improvement work in the new space, then AutoZone will do additional improvements.
AutoZone is expanding into a space formerly occupied by High Fashion Suits, Fitzroy says.
Fitzroy represented the center in the new lease and AutoZone represented itself.
