We Love Wichita
Builders, Inc. has been an active supporter of community organizations and activities for over 80 years, supporting YMCA, local charities, community events, local sports activities, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and other local organizations.
For more than eight decades, BUILDERS, INC. has been synonymous with residential, commercial, and industrial real estate development and apartment housing in Wichita.
Founded in 1941, Builders entered its first period of massive residential development as thousands of Wichitans sought the “American Dream” of homeownership. To meet the need for quality affordable housing and rental opportunities, the firm constructed homes and apartments and developed residential subdivisions during the post-war years. During the 1950s, Wichita’s first major shopping center, Parklane Center, was built at Lincoln and Oliver, in addition to industrial parks and grain elevators.
While Builders, Inc. has contributed much to Wichita’s real estate development and economic growth for more than 80 years, they have also been active supporters of community organizations and activities, including the YMCA and American Red Cross.
Builders, Inc. looks forward to a bright future for years to come.
Builders, Inc. donated the land for the South Branch YMCA and continues to support this worthy organization.
We are very proud of our neighborhood involvement. We host one of the largest block parties in the city every summer in coordination with National Night Out.
Builders’ employees raise money for various charities. During the Holiday season, food is collected as well as personal items and gifts for needy families.
Throughout the year, smaller fundraising activities are sponsored each month to encourage employees to support the designated charities.
